Ministry of Education Kesyukuran Ceremony

The Ministry of Education yesterday afternoon held the Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee Celebration of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne. The ceremony took place at University Brunei Darussalam Mosque.

 

In attendance were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Education and his deputy, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar. The ceremony commenced with the Sunat Hajat prayer, followed by the reading of Surah Al Fatihah, Surah Al Waqiah, Surah Al Mulk and the doa kesyukuran. Over 500 participants comprised of the Ministry of Education's officers and staff as well as students took part in the ceremony.

 

Apart from making supplication so that His Majesty will continue to be blessed with good health, longevity and guidance from Allah the Almighty, the ceremony also aimed to convey the citizens and residents' gratitude for Allah's blessings that enable the country to continue enjoy peace and tranquillity under the wise leadership of the Monarch.
