Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony Marking Golden Jubilee Celebrations

Doa kesyukuran ceremony continue to be held in expressing gratitude for the Golden Jubilee celebration of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne.
The Ministry of Home Affairs held such a ceremony at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque. Joining the congregants was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Home Affairs. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Ali bin Pengiran Maon; Yang Berhormat Awang Naim bin Haji Kamis; Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Tahamit bin Haji Nudin dan Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohimin bin Haji Johari @ Jahari; Members of the Legislative Council; Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs; Awang Haji Idris bin Haji Mohd Ali and Awang Haji Muhammad Sunadi bin Haji Buntar; the Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the same ministry. It began with the Fardhu Asar prayer, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Waqiah and Doa Kesyukuran. The event was hosted by the Brunei Muara District Department.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Communications and departments and authorities under it also conducted a similar gathering. It took place at the Brunei International Airport Surau. In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, the Minister of Communications. It began with the Fardhu Asar pryaer, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Waaqi'ah dan Al-Mulk, and ended with the Doa Kesyukuran. Also present were Awang Haji Azhar bin Haji Ahmad, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications; Doctor Haji Supry bin Haji Awang Ladi, the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary; Heads of department and other senior officials.
