Singapore Government Explores Collaborative Opportunities with UNISSA

To gain a better understanding on the programmes offered at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, UNISSA and to explore further opportunities for collaboration with the Republic of Singapore, the Minister of Environment and Water Resources of Singapore this afternoon made a goodwill visit to UNISSA.
His Excellency Masagos Zulkifli bin Masagos Mohamad and delegation were welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Education. The delegation later heard a short briefing from Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, the Rektor of UNISSA which among other matters touched on the history of UNISSA's establishment. Also present were Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Education, His Excellency Lim Hong Huai, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, as well as officers from the Singapore Islamic Religious Council and UNISSA.
