Also in attendance was Pengiran Haji Asmadi bin Pengiran Haji Aliuddin, Principal of Mahad Islam Brunei.
The ceremony began with the presentation of the awards for the 'Best Student' and the 'Overall Best Student'. Encouragement prizes were also awarded to students who had excelled in their Brunei Religious Education Certificate (SPUB) and GCE 'O' Levels.

There was also an award and certificate presentation ceremony for students who had achieved excellent results in their Primary School Assessment (PSR) and Student Improvement Assessment (PKP).
