The State Mufti's Office has released a new publication, 'Fatwa Mufti Kerajaan 2014', which is a compilation of 28 fatwas by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Dr. Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti of Brunei Darussalam.

The book is a reference material for Muslims and seeks to address doubts on certain issues such as paying Zakat (religious tithe) through a fixed deposit and Zakat obligations for business earnings.

Among the other topics are frequently asked questions on bathing with Zamzam Water, using gold-infused beauty products and sending non-Muslim employees to church services.

The latest State Mufti publication 'Fatwa Mufti Kerajaan 2014' can be obtained at the State Mufti's Office.
