The Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque in Kampong Setia recently presented letters of appointment to its new members of the Takmir committee.

Present as the guest of honour at the event was the Director of Mosque Affairs, Ustaz Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh. Also present were the acting assistant director and officials from the Mosque Affairs Department.

The ceremony began with mass Maghrib and Sunnat Hajat prayers followed by a welcoming remark from the Head of Imam of the mosque, in his capacity as the chairman of the event, Awang Haji Hassan bin Haji Lussin.

With the appointment of the new Takmir committee, it is hoped that it will continue to enliven religious activities at mosques as part of the effort towards making Brunei Darussalam as a Zikir Nation.
