The Youth and Sports Bureau of the Kampong Belimbing Village Consultative Council (MPKB) has issued a reminder for the closing date of the Bukit Markucing Challenge Run 2016.

With about a week to go for the May 8 deadline, Awang Yusrey bin Haji Gapor, the head of the MPKB Youth and Sports Bureau, said that registration can be done directly at the Gallery Room of the Tasik Sarubing Recreational Park, from 9am to 6pm.

The run, scheduled to happen at 7am on May 29, will commence and conclude at the Tasik Sarubing Recreational Park of Kampong Belimbing.

An additional route will take the participants around the Bukit Markucing Recreational Park, as well as the Tasik Sarubing Recreational Park. The route is 5.7km long, an increase from the 4.7km route of previous years.

Junior participants will run on a shorter route of 3.3km, in two separate categories.

The run is divided into five categories for both male and female runners, with Category 'A' for ages 7-12, Category 'B' for ages 13-25, Category 'C' for ages 40-55, Category 'D' for age 56 and above, while Category 'E' is an open category.
