The International Conference on Business, Economics and Finance, ICBEF was held for two days which begin today. Organised by the UBD School of Business and Economics, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, the conference was officiated this morning at the Chancellor Hall in UBD.

Present was Doctor Haji Azman bin HAJI Ahmad, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education. In his welcoming speech, Professor Ahmed Masood Khalid, Dean of UBD School of Business and Economics, stated that the Conference provides researchers a platform to present and exchange research findings, innovative ideas and industrial practices in the area of sustainable business development. Professors from Japan and Turkey also shared their views on the sustainable business practices and the regional contemporary issues. More than 60 working papers will be tabled by representative from 14 countries. Various issues are discussed at the conference including Business Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management.
