Dollar Changes Hands In Upper 108 Yen Zone In Early Trade In Tokyo

TOKYO
The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, marginally lower than its levels seen in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.90-91 yen compared with 108.99-109.09 yen in New York and 109.42-44 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1815-1815 dollars and 128.68-72 yen against 1.1801-1811 dollars and 128.70-80 yen in New York and 1.1781-1782 dollars and 128.91-95 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
