Information Junior Friends Programme

TUTONG
More than 300 students attended the Information Junior Friends programme held this morning in the Tutong District. The programme aimed at making the young generation specifically school students to be more sensitive to current developments aside from becoming a positive information dissemination agent. The programme organised by the Information Department targeted students from Years 7, 9 and 10 and was held at the Sayyidina Othman Secondary School in Tutong.
Present was Awang Haji Adnan bin Haji Adam, Acting Tutong District Officer. The programme included a video clip presentation "Kibarkanlah Dengan Megah Bendera Negara" and "Semarak Pengibaran Bendera" as well as an animation video clip "Tatacara Menaikkan Bendera Negara" and video clip on the Information Department's mobile application "InfodeptBN". Also held was a natuionhood brieifing Assimilation of the Brunei Darussalam National Anthem and National Flag delivered by Awang Hasanul Hidayat bin Haji Abu Bakar, Head of the Tutong District branch Information Department.
The programme aimed at providing civic awareness and instilling a spirit of nationhood especially among the young generation towards the shaping of the mind and positive morals, apart from bringing them closer through directed and guided entertainment.
