Zlatan Ibrahimovic has never been shy about his own brilliance, and in the past has compared himself to Benjamin Button, a Ferrari convertible, a lion and even... God. On Wednesday, he had a new comparison for himself: American founding father Benjamin Franklin.
Sweden's all-time leading scorer compared himself to Franklin -- who is immortalized on the US $100 bill -- in an Instagram post in which he poses with an enlarged depiction of a Swedish 1,000 kroner note that pictures none other than himself.
The photographs of Ibrahimovic on the note come from Swedish photographer Bingo Rimer but unfortunately for Ibra's biggest fans, led by himself of course, the note is not official Swedish currency.
According to Forbes, Ibrahimovic amassed $32m last season while playing for Manchester United and the current free agent will be looking to secure one more big pay day before retirement. It remains to be seen where Ibrahimovic will play next season or how much he will make but it's fair to say whichever team signs him will have to pay the 35-year-old quite a few "Ibras" to secure his services.
