Market Day For Job Seekers

In ensuring local jobseekers are easy to get a job, the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister's Office will hold the Market Day for the Centre for Capacity Building, also known as Pusat Pembangunan Kapasiti. Various training programmes driven by industry demand and certified by industry standard will be offered during the open day. Pusat Pembangunan Kapasiti Open Day, will be held at the Auditorium of the former Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Secondary School building in Jalan 10, Rancangan Perumahan Negara Lambak Kanan from 27th to 30th of July 2017, from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon except Friday, the Market Day will be closed from 12 noon until 2 in the afternoon for Friday prayers. The Centre's programmes would also include re-skilling and up-skilling courses such that trainees can obtain the competencies required by industry and improve their employability for various jobs in the private sector. Those interested may register into the programme(s) of choice on the day itself. Upon successful admission, trainees will be given a Conditional Offer of Employment (COE) with companies in the private sector and depending on the programme; they will undergo training for a period of three to six months. Citizens or permanent residents of Negara Brunei Darussalam who have completed Year 9 and above are welcome to the Market Day and register into the programme(s).
