Hari Raya Aidilfitri continued to be celebrated by various parties. Yesterday, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and departments under it held such a celebration which is aimed at forging closer relations among its officers and staff.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah, and Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The function was highlighted with poetry declamation and tausyeh performance by the Syababul Iman Group of the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque Youth Group. The gathering was held at Multaqa Hall of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
