The Kampung Pelambayan Consultative Council also held a similar ceremony for residents of Kampung Pelambayan. The function was held yesterday at the residence of Awang Haji Hanipah bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Haji Junit, the Village Chief of Kampung Pelambayan.

In attendance was Awang Haji Mislee bin Haji Abdul Karim, the Brunei Muara District Officer. The Get-Together was the Consultative Council's annual activity in its efforts to strengthen relations among the village residents.

The function ran concurrently with the presentation of donations to 47 recipients comprising of orphans in Kampung Pelambayan and Kampung Dato Gandi, people with special needs and senior citizens. The donations, contributed by Awang Sunny Chai, Firuz Jaya Silkhouse and Awang Haji Puteh bin Jukin, were presented by the Brunei Muara District Officer and Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Maharaja Kerna Dato Paduka Awang Haji Yaakob bin Pehin Orang Kaya Maharaja Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Haji Zainal.
