All because of possessing customs contraband, two local siblings were sentenced to 18-months imprisonment after failing to pay a fine of 25 Thousand Dollars respectively. 26-year old, Ak Mohammad Nurul Arifin bin Pengiran Umar was found guilty for possessing of 31 cartons and 4 packets of cigarettes of various brands without permit.

Meanwhile, 21-year old, Ak Mohammad Hilman bin Pengiran Umar, was found guilty for possessing of 31 cartons of cigarettes of various brands and one bottle of alcoholic drinks without permit. The two offences were apprehended during an inspection at a house in RPN Kampung Rimba on the 11th of April this year. All the goods were confiscated to be destroyed.
