133 orphans and 25 persons with disabilities received donations from various private sectors in the country. The ceremony was organised by Khidmat Katering Harini Sendirian Berhad that was held late yesterday afternoon at Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium Restaurant in Berakas.

The ceremony began with the reading of Tahlil led by Awang Haji Amron bin Haji Omar, Imam of Kampung Sungai Hanching Mosque. The ceremony continued with the presentation of donations to National Orphans Fund and Brunei Muara District Orphans Fund. The donations were handed over by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport AND Awang Haji Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Brunei Muara District Officer. Meanwhile, the presentation of donations to the oprhans and persons with disabilities was presented by Yang Berhormat the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport. The ceremony ran concurrently with breaking of fast.
