This bizarre photo of a shaved husky is one of the weirdest things you’ll see on the internet this week.

The poor dog was snapped without its thick, shiny coat – apart from on its head, which somehow makes it even more strange.

It surfaced on Twitter last week and went viral with people laughing at the picture.

But what’s unclear is why the dog’s fur was removed – and though some people speculated it may have been shaved for medical reasons, others were very unhappy indeed.

So, yeah. Whoever shaved the husky may not have realised the effect on the dog.

Some people feared it was shaved for a prank, but the origin and age of the photo are unknown.

However, the design of the room the husky was photographed in suggests it may have been preparation for surgery.
