Citizens and residents in the country once again have the opportunity to enjoy the personal gift of dates from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam this year. The dates have been distributed to all districts in the country, namely the Brunei Muara, Belait, Tutong and Temburong district.

Yesterday, residents from Kampung Sengkarai, Kampung Penabai, Kuala Tutong and Kampung Bukit Beruang in the Tutong district as well as several Mukim and villages in the Brunei Muara district received their share of the dates. Meanwhile, distribution in the Belait and Temburong districts has been completed last Saturday. Also present during the distribution are village chiefs, officers from District offices and members of village consultative councils, who all lent a hand in distributing the dates. The personal gift of dates from His Majesty, which is intended for Muslims to break their fast during this Ramadhan, reflects His Majesty's love and care for citizens and residents in the country.
