The Royal Brunei Police Force, this morning held the Distribution of the personal gifts of dates from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to its officers and personnel.

The distribution of the personal gifts of dates from His Majesty was handed over by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pengiran Haji Mohammad bin Haji Metali, Director of General Administration and Finance. The ceremony began with a religious talk entitled 'Bulan Ramadhan'm or the month of Ramadhan. An invited speaker, Awang Hilman bin Haji Salim, an Accredited Lecturer from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council in his talk touched on the month of Ramadhan is a month of training, a month full of patience in an effort of becoming a muslim with taqwa. The distribution of the personal gifts of dates from His Majesty to all muslim citizens and residents in the country shows the love and care of His Majesty towards the welfare of its citizen.
