Dollar Changes Hands In Upper 111 Yen Zone In Early Trade In Tokyo

TOKYO
The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 111 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, rising slightly from levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.95-96 yen compared with 111.73-83 yen in New York and 111.19-22 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1179-1179 dollars and 125.14-15 yen against 1.1179-1189 dollars and 124.94-125.04 yen in New York and 1.1250-1254 dollars and 125.11-15 yen in late afternoon trade on Tuesday. Enditem
