A delivery driver elevated himself to the status of hero after he took a hungover customer’s pizza into his bedroom.

Sam Zegrour was feeling a little hungover so he did what many of us do – go for the carbs.

Describing his hangover as ‘sinister’ he said the door was on the latch to that the delivery driver could get into his bedroom at his home in Bury, Greater Manchester.

And that’s exactly what he did.

Sam shared two photos on Facebook last Saturday of his unique delivery and wrote: ‘Current situation. Not all heroes wear capes.’

The first picture shows the online order form with Sam’s instructions for the delivery driver which read: ‘Sinister hangover, door open, please bring upstairs.’

After marking the preferred delivery time as ‘ASAP’, his second snap shows the driver standing in Sam’s bedroom, holding his order in one hand and giving a thumbs up to the camera with the other.

Facebook users have been quick to react to the delivery.

Nathan Altshuler wrote: ‘I need this delivery guy in my life.’

Nickie Taylor commented: ‘This would be the dream.’

Anna-Louise Fackey added: ‘They really do go out of their way to deliver food! We broke down once and they delivered to the car.’

Whilst Kay Frodsham wrote: ‘Now I want a Domino’s.’
