Captain (Rtd) Haji Mohammad Amirul Shahnoel bin Haji Mohammad Noeh, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Technology) at the Ministry of Defence, recently attended the International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX) in Singapore.
The event was held from May 16-18 and was officially launched by Singapore’s Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen.
The visit underscores the strong defence ties between both countries.
During the visit, the deputy permanent secretary also attended the 3rd International Naval Engineering Conference (INEC) held concurrently at IMDEX with Ng Chee Khern, Singapore’s Permanent Secretary (Defence Development) and Permanent Secretary (Smart Nation and Digital Government) as the guest of honour.
The deputy permanent secretary also visited Singapore’s New Littoral Mission Vessels that featured the latest trend and technological developments in the defence industry.
Captain (Rtd) Haji Mohammad Amirul Shahnoel also made courtesy calls on David Koh Tee Hian, Deputy Secretary (Technology), Minister of Defence Singapore; Tan Peng Yam, Chief Executive of the Defence Sience and Technology Agency, IGA Jacques Consquer, Co-Chairman of the Joint Defence Working Group between Brunei Darussalam and France.
