Four PGGMB Officers Attended Pertemuan Guru-Guru Nusantara

JAKARTA
Four officers from Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) recently attended Pertemuan Guru-Guru Nusantara (PGN) and the 17th International Seminar on Education Characters in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The delegation was headed by the President of PGGMB, Awang Haji Antin bin Ahad.
The conference was attended by the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI), West Malaysia Malay Teachers' Union (KGMMB), the Union of the Singapore Malay Teachers (KGMS) and the Association of Education (MAE).
The conference was to discuss the arrangements for organizing regional and international conferences, namely Pertemuan Guru-Guru Nusantara (PGN) and the 17th International Seminar on Character Education from 19-20 July 2017, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The conference organized by the Indonesian Teachers Association, while the international education seminar was organised jointly by the Universities and PGRI PGRI.
PGN 17th theme is "Mengembangkan Pendidikan Karakter Untuk Melestarikan Budaya Serumpun Nusantara" which describes the role of education and the teaching profession in shaping the character in whole starting from education in schools. Some paperworks will be submitted by the participated countries, including Brunei Darussalam.
PGN become a place for knowledge sharing, in addition to strengthening relationships through the programs implemented.
