All because of possessing customs contraband, a local woman was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan magistrate's Court.

23 year old Siti Noraisah Binti Salim, was fined five thousand dollars or 4 months imprisonment in default on three charges namely bringing in 2 cartons and 6 packs of cigarettes of various brands, one bottle and 24 cans of alcoholic drinks as well as 48 kilograms of chicken wings and 48 kilograms of chicken tails. The defendant was given a period until the 31st of December 2017 to clear the fine. All items involved were seized while the car was returned.
