Visit to Air Force City Clark

PAMPANGA,PHILIPPINES
Yesterday, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces visited Air Force City Clark, Pampanga in the Philippines.
Present at Air Force City Clark to greet His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Excellency Secretary Arthur Tugade, Department of Transportation; Major General Conrado V Parra Jr, Vice Commander of the Philippine Air Force; Mr. Alan Peter Cayetano, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines; and Mr. Vivencio B. Dizon, President of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, BCDA.
Upon arrival, His Majesty walked past a Static Guard of Honour and proceeded to Haribon Hangar for a close inspection of the Philippines Air Force's FA-50 jet aircraft. His Majesty was then invited to go onboard the jet aircraft. His Majesty was briefed by Lieutenant Colonel Maynard P. Mariano of the Philippine Air Force on the aircraft. His Majesty then proceeded to view a flight demonstration. His Majesty then attended a luncheon, hosted by the BCDA.
Prior to leaving Air Force City Clark, His Majesty was given Wing Patches from the pilots of the FA-50 jet aircrafts. His Majesty then presented a souvenir to Lieutenant Colonel Maynard P. Mariano.
