Various activities and programme were lined up in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of the Brunei Darussalam Former Soldiers Association. Yesterday saw a presentation of donations to 5 orphans of the association members. The function took place at Teratak Perwira, Anggerek Desa in Berakas.

Presenting the donation was Datin Hajah Hazizah binti Haji Adam, Chairperson of the association's Group of Wives and Dependants. The event coincided with a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with its 25th anniversary. Among those present were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Retired Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud, the association's advisor and Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Dato Paduka Raja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Shari bin Ahmad, President of the association.
