Bandarku Ceria Programme Develops Local Entrepreneurs

The weekly Bandarku Ceria programme is hoped to create a healthy lifestyle, strengthen family institutions and enliven the capital's atmosphere. Apart from that, such a programme also provides a platform for entrepreneurial development in the country. The cycling recreation activity are among the activities that receive encouraging response from the visitors.
This week, R-T-B crew observed one of the local companies providing bicycle rental services that attract cycling enthusiasts - both adults and children. The bicycle rental service by Syarikat Mulya Sarah Sahnisa Enterprise make sightseeing in the capital easier for the public. According to Awang Abdul Manan bin Haji Hamid, the company owner, various types of bicycles are available for rental at a cost of as low as two dollars an hour.
Activities lined up under the Bandarku Ceria programme also attract the attention of the tourists. The 'Art Affair 2017' organised by Brunei Tourism in collaboration with local educational institutions is hoped to attract art enthusiasts to the capital. Various colourful paintings by the students of the Sengkurong Sixth Form Centre and International Graduate Studies, I-G-S as well as local artists were on display, further enlivening the Bandarku Ceria atmosphere.
