TUTONG

"Anak Adalah Anugerah 2017" or "A Child is a Gift 2017" was the title of a Roadshow aimed at sharing the role of the Special Education Unit in teaching children with special needs. The activity was an effort of the Ministry of Education to disseminate information on the Unit. The Roadshow was held at the Tutong Civic Centre this morning.

Enhancing understanding and awareness among all levels of the community on inclusive education as well as the Special Education Unit's approaches and roles were among the objectives of the Roadshow. According to Awang Ali Yusri bin Abdul Ghafor, the Acting Head of the Special Education Unit, the Unit has held such roadshows in the four districts since January this year and had received encouraging response from parents.
