Bilateral Meeting between Royal Brunei Police Force and Singapore Police Force

There has been a call on police officers to exit their comfort zone and focus not only on the current trends of crimes but also on possible new threats. The call was made by Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Muhd Shah Al-Islam, the Commissioner of Police during the 12th Bilateral Meeting between the Royal Brunei Police Forces and the Singapore Police Force yesterday morning.
Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy also said bilateral meeting between the two police force must progress to the next level and devise plans and strategize accordingly between the two police forces.
During the meeting, both parties discussed issues that were strategic to the development for both forces with an emphasis to identify and bridge gaps with the expertise from both police forces through exchanges, capacity building and information sharing. The bilateral meeting represents an important forum to introduce and nurture young officers who will be the future leaders. It is also a platform for both police forces to enhance mutual cooperation and foster a close working relationship, which is essential in order for both forces to thrive in undertaking new challenges. Also present was Dato Paduka Seri Hoong Wee Teck, the Commissioner of Police, Singapore Police Force.
