The eminence of Islam in the country shines brighter with the increase in the number of converts choosing Islam as their life's adherence. Two nights ago, a Filipino lady embraced Islam. At the conversion ceremony, 30-year-old Rogaya Burlaza Ayob recited the Dua Kalimah Syahadah and chose Nur Fauziyyah binti Ayob as her Islamic name.

Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Iswandy Bin Ahmad, a member of the Legislative Council. The ceremony took place at the residence of Awang Muhammad Abidin bin Haji Ali Aziz in Kampung Tasek Meradun. 71 people have embraced Islam throughout the country from the beginning of this year until end of February.
