The Personal Contact Programme aimed to boost relations between the government and residents in the country. It is among the Information Department's continuous effort to approach the residents in the country. The programme was held yesterday at the residence of Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Village Chief of Kampung Labu Estate.

It was conducted through the department's Temburong Branch and Community Relation Unit. The delegation was led by Awang Mawardi bin Haji Mohammad, Acting Director of Information.

Such a programme is a platform for the Information Department in disseminating official information on the government's policy to the public. Through such programme, the department has also introduced and disseminate the digital version of 'Pelita Brunei' which is e-Pelita Brunei.
