A total of 51 special athletes competed for top places in the 3rd Unified Ten Pin Bowling Competition of the National Games Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam, SOBD. The event was held at the Utama Bowling in Batu Satu.

The competition was officiated by Awang Haji Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghafor, Acting Head of Special Unit, Ministry of Education.  The competition was held in line with SOBD's mission, which is to provide opportunities to the special needs community to compete in sports events similar to those in the Olympics.  It is also hope to raise awareness on a healthy lifestyle through a healthy body and active mind.
