Excellent Student Prize Presentation Held by Sungai Akar Arabic School

In appreciation of the students of the Sungai Akar Arabic School who excelled in the Primary School Assessment, PSR; Brunei Religious Education Certificate - SPUB and the Brunei Cambridge GCE O-Level examinations last year, an excellent Student Prize Presentation was held yesterday morning.

The function took place at the Hall of the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB.  The Sungai Akar Arabic School is among the schools in the country to achieve 100 percent pass in the three examinations.

Prizes were presented by Yang Arif Pengiran Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Syariah High Court Judge. The function coincided with a best student prize presentation to more than 100 Years 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 students.  Meanwhile, more than 40 pupils obtained 5'A's in PSR and 11 students received the prize of Excellence in SPUB and GCE 'O' level examinations.  In an interview with RTB, the students shared that teachers and parental support are among the factors that lead to their success.
