New Innovative Initiatives Introduced, Embassy of Japan to Brunei Darussalam

Two new innovative initiatives have been introduced by the Embassy of Japan to Brunei Darussalam to support Japanese language learners in the country. According to the First Secretary at the Japanese Embassy, the two new initiatives, namely the Japanese e-Learning 'Minato' and 'NIHONGO Partners' were developed by Japan Foundation.

 

 

Speaking at a press conference on the new initiatives, this morning, Miss Rie Arai explained that 'Minato' is designed to enable anyone in the world to learn Japanese.

 

 

Meanwhile, 'NIHONGO Partners' is Japanese citizens being dispatched to Japanese language learning institutions in Asia to support the local Japanese-Language teachers and learners. The selected NIHONGO Partner will be appointed to Institute Brunei Technical Education Continuing Education and Training Division, IBTE-CET and the class starts on the 1st of March.

 

 

 

IBTE-CET offers a three-month short course at Beginner Level and an Intermediate Level for learners above 15 years old. The classes are offered for BND 135.00 for Brunei Citizens and BND 202.50 for Non-Citizens. The next course will be open from July to September 2017.
