Air Asia Cancelled Flights Due To Radar Shutdown

PHILIPPINE
The Air Asia Philippines announced Tuesday, February 21, the cancellation of 12 domestic flights due to the temporarily shutdown of Tagaytay monopulse secondary surveillance radar (MSSR).
Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines earlier issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for the closure of the air traffic radar in Tagaytay for maintenance and upgrade from March 6 to 11.
The low-cost airline in its advisory said that affected passengers may opt to rebook to the next available flights of the same route within 30 days from the original departure date, avail the credit shell valid for the next 90 days or refund.
