The Magistrate’s Court has ordered a 63-year-old local man to cooperate with the police in further investigations of a current case involving investment fraud.

Pengiran Hussin bin Pengiran Sulaiman's plea was not taken on the charges of swindling two individuals of cash money amounting to $2,500, through a fraudulent investment scheme in February 2015 and December 2016.

On February 13, at a restaurant in Kampong Sungai Hanching, the defendant was arrested. DPP Farhanah binti Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Suhaili informed the court that the case was still in its early stages and that more needs to be done before pursuing the defendant's plea.

Senior Magistrate Haji Nabil Daraina bin Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin ordered the defendant to return to court on February 20.
