Look, we’re not the only ones that need to brush our teeth in order to get rid of that hugely undesirable bout of morning breath.
It seems that hippopotamuses are afflicted by death breath too, but it’s not so easy for them to get rid of it.
Instead of taking a trip to the bathroom and whacking out the minty fresh, this guy has to enlist the help of his zookeeper.
He’s only too willing to open wide as the keeper curiously rubs the animal’s gums – before pulling out a giant toothbrush to clean the hippo’s tombstone-like gnashers.
As for the keeper, he’s only too aware that the hippo’s gnashers could prove to be very painful if they accidentally clamp down on him – and takes a fair degree of caution as he brushes the animal’s teeth with the brush.
But after that, it’s then onto breakfast – as a selection of bananas and melons are thrown straight into the animal’s mouth.
In short, it’s the kind of pampered morning routine that we could only ever dream of achieving.
