RBPF Hold Handover of 96th Police Day Posters

To promote its 96th anniversary celebrations, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a distribution of posters yesterday at the RBPF Headquarters in Gadong,
The guest of honour was Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Muhd Shah Al-Islam, the Commissioner of Police.
The ceremony began with a mass recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah led by APO SM6924 Pengiran Haji Ludin bin Pengiran Haji Matahir, the Imam of the RBPF Surau.
This was followed by a formal handover of the posters by Pengiran Mohd Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid, the Assistant Police Commissioner and Acting Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), in his capacity as the chairman of the executive committee for the 96th anniversary celebrations, to the guest of honour.
The posters were then presented to penghulus, representatives from various government departments and media personnel for mass distribution.
Several religious events and a parade are among the planned activities for the 96th Police Day celebrations which will take place next month, under the theme of `Solidarity and Harmony Strengthen Peace' (Perpaduan dan Keharmonian Mengukuhkan Keamanan).
Also in attendance were Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, the Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police.
