The chic and trendy cafe, Magnum Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) has officially opened its door in a grand launching ceremony yesterday at Citis Square, Berakas.

The Belgian chocolate brand reveals its the ice-cream store to pleasure seekers.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture,Youth And Sports.

Also present were Yang berhormat Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Chairman of Royal Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd (RBC) and; and Shiv Sahgal,Marketing Director of Food & Refreshment Uniliver  Holdings Sdn Bhd.

 Ahmad Husaini bin Hassan, the General Manager of RBC in his welcoming remarks , explained that as one of the world's leading ice cream brand, Magnum BSB strive to offer unique dining experience to local patrons and “dubbed as the ultimate customizable ice – cream “.

He added that ever since its soft opening in December, the make-my-Magnum experience has sent  explosive shockwaves throughout social media

Meanwhile in a speech by Shiv Sahgal, "The Magnum Cafe will inspire the people of Brunei to be unique and to create a style that defines themselves as individuals, with each Magnum creation reflecting your personality and the mood you are in. Thus every visit will be special," he ended.

The launching ceremony was then followed with signing of a plaque by the minister to commemorate the launch of Magnum Bandar Seri Begawan.

Also witnessing the grand launching ceremony yesterday were the permanent secretaries at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, members of the board of directors of RBC and invited guest.
