PPPMB Delegation Visits Pakistan Envoy

A delegation from the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) led by its president, Dr Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Chuchu, recently met with Pakistan High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Tariq Rashid Khan for discussions on bilateral trade and investments in the fields of agriculture, livestock, textiles, education, health products and Halal food.
The high commissioner briefed the delegation on the economic indicators and business opportunities available in Pakistan, including potential joint collaboration in areas such as dairy products, sporting goods and cotton. He also mentioned the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, for which an investment of USD 46 billion dollars is already underway.
At the end of the visit, both PPPMB and the Pakistan High Commission agreed to remain in close contact and formulate a comprehensive plan to promote business ties and people-topeople contact between the two countries.
