A 45-year-old member of the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan yesterday won the BIBD Barakah Rewards 7 grand prize, driving away a Benz 250 GLC AMG.

Haji Siadis bin jalan, a widower with three kids, told the Media that he had not "expected to win" even when the participants went through many games and coming down to the last two participants, who actually drew the keys and tried to start the car.

The event was held at The Mall, Gadong atrium where 30 lucky BIBD customers who were part of BIBD's Barakah Rewards 7 campaign all brought home prizes.

The 29 other winners either brought home an iPhone 7, an iPad Pro and an iPhone SE.

On hand to give away the prizes was Hajah Nurul Akmar binti Haji Mohd Jaafar, Head of Retail Banking of BIBD.BIBD Barakah Rewards 7 campaign ended on November 30, 2016.

BIBD customers were automatically entered into the campaign when they either assigned their salary to BIBD, applied for any of BIBD's financing, term deposits, credit cards and signed up for Perdana.
