Two Remanded in Connection Kuala Lurah Case

Two local men were produced in the Magistrate's Court last weekend in a case believed to be linked to the death of a local man at the Kuala Lurah Control Post last Thursday morning.
The duo allegedly conspire to commit culpable homicide, not amounting to murder of the victim, 44-year-old Haji Aziz bin Haji Johara. The incident took place at the Kuala Lumpur Control post during the wee hours of last Thursday.
DPP Sharon Yeo informed the court that police are conducting further investigations in the case.
Senior Magistrate Haji Nabil Daraina bin Pehin Dato Ustaz Haji Badaruddin ordered the defendants remanded and fixed the case for further mention on January 21.
A charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder carries a penalty of life in prison, whilst abetting it carries the same penalty
