The Brunei Darussalam Photography Association yesterday held a Gala Night to honour and appreciate the good deeds, services, achievements and contributions of its members. The ceremony continued with the presentation of prizes to the winners of the annual competition organised by the association.

Awang Murni bin Awang Haji Mahali won the prize for the Best Photographer for 2016. Prizes were presented by Pengiran Hajah Mahani binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Acting Deputy Head of Brunei History Centre. The Brunei Darussalam Photography Association now has 60 registered members. The association’s objective is to find skill and consistency among its members by challenging them to show the best work quality in the field of photography.
