Excellent Students Feted in a Prize Presentation Ceremony

JALAN GADONG, BRUNEI-MUARA

 

Seri Mulia Sarjana School (SMSS) conducted a Recognition and Awarding ceremony on March 4, to honour the highest achievers of the GCE 'O' Level and Primary School Assessment (PSR) 2015 at the Scout Centre.

 

Gracing the prestigious event was Awang Ali Hazis bin Haji Mohd Tahir, the Acting Assistant Director of Examinations at the Department of Examinations of the Ministry of Education.

 

A total, of 32 students were feted for their remarkable performance in achieving eight to nine 'O' levels.

 

In addition to that, eight students were given special recognition for obtaining five 'O' levels in the GCE and IGCSE 'O' Level 2015.

 

The most outstanding student, Manahil Imran delivered a passionate speech as a great tribute to her Alma Mater.

 

As for PSR, 30 students were bestowed with certificates for obtaining five As and 27 students for four 'A's respectively.

 

The ceremony also witnessed an array of cultural festivities such as 'Tausyeh' and the Chinese traditional dance 'Tai Zhu'.
