BAG Networks recently held a Dikir Maulud ceremony in conjunction with the Maulud Nabi celebrations for the year 1438 Hijrah.

The ceremony aimed to enliven the commemoration of Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) birthday anniversary among BAG Networks Muslim clients and personnel, in line with BAG Networks effort in upholding the national philosophy of Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) and the aspiration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang DiPertuan of Brunei Darussalam in creating a Zikir Nation.

BAG Networks Chief Executive Officer Haslina binti Haji Md Taib and the management team of BAG Networks were present to host the event, which was held at the Design and Technology Building, Anggerek Desa Technology Park.

Guests included senior officers from the Public Service Department and DARE (Darussalam Enterprise), as well as from the private sector, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Cooperative Limited Company (KOWIRA) and the Anggerek Desa Technology Park community.

The event started with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by recitation of Tausyeh and Dikir Marhaban, performed by Firqah AnNaghom, a renowned local group consisting of finalists from Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB) Tausyeh competitions as well as Qari participants of the Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran for youth.
