To mark the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on 12th of Rabiulawal 1438 Hijrah corresponding to December 12, 2016, the Ministry of Health (MoH) held a Dikir Maulud last night at the AI-Ameerah AI-Hajjah Maryam Mosque in Kampong Jerudong.

Among those present were Yang Berhormat Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi, and Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle. The event began with Maghrib prayer, followed by Dikir and Isyak prayer.

Over 100 MoH officials and village residents attended the event, which is an annual activity of the ministry to jointly enliven major Islamic calendar events and to glorify Maulidur Rasul,

The ceremony also encouraged them to perform Selawat praising the Prophet and show love for the Prophet's noble deeds that enlighten Islam to Muslim Ummah.

The MoH has been carrying out such activity at other mosques.
