Singapore BSAC Students Return Home

As 10th Brunei-Singapore Student Leaders Adventure Camp (BSAC) concludes, twenty students aged 15 and 16 years from four singapore schools return back to Singapore yesterday


The camp kicked off from December 3-7, 2016.The students were led by Senior Officer of Physical, Sports and Outdoor Education, Chin Khen Theen.

 

Chin Khen Theen said, "This camp is one of the best camps in terms of programme management."

 


The student leaders from the two countries were able to exchange cultural knowledge, and take part in teamwork and bonding activities.

 

"The main objective of this BSAC is to provide an opportunity for student Leaders from both countries to study and spend time with one another," he said.

 


The ministries of education of Brunei and Singapore will work closely to plan activities that will benefit of youth from both countries, he said.

 

Through the BSAC, he said, students can bring back precious memories and knowledge to be shared with the students at their school.

 

Muhammad Ashraf bin Yusri from Loyang Secondary. School and Farisha Low Rui Qi from Westwood Secondary School both expressed their amazement at being able to witness the unique culture of Brunei Darussalam, especially when their took part in the paddy field activities.

 

Muhammad Ashraf said BSAC is an opportunity to strengthen relationships among students from Brunei and Singapore.

 

The BSAC camp which involved 40 students from Brunei and Singapore was held at Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (Maktab Duli), Gadong.
