A home in Kampong Sungai Asam endured significant damage in a fire brought on by unattended cooking.

 

Be that as it may, no wounds were accounted for in the burst yesterday morning. The home claimed by Asli receptacle Othman was involved by a group of 13 individuals. The misfortune was evaluated to be at $60,000.

The Fire and Rescue Department received a call at about five yesterday morning.

 

In another incident, in the Temburong District at Kampong Sungai Tanit, a fire destroyed a house owned by Mohamad bin Haji Tahir. The Temburong Fire and Rescue Operation 'G', in Bangar, received a call alerting about the incident at 10.20am. The house was occupied by seven people who are now staying temporarily at a flat house under the Temburong District Office.

 


The fire also damaged all important documents, including school certificates, identity cards and birth certificates. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
