The third instalment of TEDxGadong will be held on December 11 at the Auditorium, Design and Technology Building in Anggerèk Desa.

A total of six speakers - Akhmal Aiman, Liyana Hanif, Sara Khadhra, Shafique Hussain, Syen Sofian and Wa'iz Maidin - will be delivering talks around the theme Globalising Local Design'.

To inaugurate the speakers and team members prior to the upcoming event and to acknowledge the partners, sponsors and vendors who have contributed to ensure its success, TEDxGadong yesterday held a second press conference with an informal high tea at Tarindak Pantai Cafe in Jerudong.

In his welcoming remarks, the Chairman of TEDxGadong, Muhammad Fadli bin Haji Awang Zaini, announced that one of the milestones achieved by the organisation this year was the successful launch of the TEDxGadong official website, which aims to serve as a platform for prospective partners, speakers, sponsors and volunteers to reach out and keep in touch (with newsletters), among others.

TEDxGadong has received great reception from the general public this year, with all their tickets usually sold out a week before the actual event. General collection and payment of pre-booked tickets for the third instalment can still be done today from 11.30am onwards at the iCentre in Anggerek Desa.

The upcoming edition of TEDxGadong will also mark the first time that food vendors -Sidewalk Juice, Dozed Enterprise and The Food Word BN - will be featured and set up outside the venue.
