TUTONG
The Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTE Tutong) yesterday held a parent-teacher meeting for its Lower Sixth Year 12 students who had just recently completed their End of Year examinations.
Cg Hjh Murni binti Abdullah, the Principal, expressed her contentment with the strong turnout of parents and guardians who took their time off to briefly meet and discussed with the tutors about their children’s academic progress.
In addition to academic progress, parents and tutors were also involved in wide-ranging dialogue ranging from strengths, weaknesses and strategies on how parents can be more involved and supportive in light of the heavier demands of the Advanced Level (A-Level) curriculum next year. It is also through such platform that students can establish where they stand among their peers and what they need to work on to achieve better results.
